EBITDA
E.B.I.T.D.A. stands for
earnings
before
interest,
taxes,
depreciation, and
amortization.
If a company has a large amount of assets which are subject to depreciacion, or it has big amount of bought assets to amortize, the EBITDA gives a more realistic value of real
earnings.
This is of interest for both comparing companies in the same industry sector and of different industries.

The Peace Symbol
Where the
Peace symbol comes from?
You can find on the Web many historical analisys and argumentations about this, from religious to satanic, politics or mason ones.
The most reasonable and widely accepted version is that it comes from the movement against Nuclear War. The symbol was created by Gerald Holtom in the 1958, as symbol for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), which president was Bertrand Russell.
It represents te two letters 'N' and 'D' (
Nuclear
Disarmament) in the
Naval code of Semaphore:
N
D
