Hubbert peak theory

Given that oil is a non renewable resource (surely not in the current millenium), it is inevitable that we will not have any more of it, at a certain point. When will this happen? Probably this is worth to know.

Here a couple of options:

1. The states are not doing enough, the petrol lobby is trying to hide this problem and secretely working against the adoption of other kind of energies.
2. The states know the problem and are taking care of it, just do not want to alarm the populations.
