Nobel Prize

You surely know the famous "Nobel Prize", awarded every year as per Alfred Nobel last will and testament (1833-1896). The Swedish inventor A.Nobel invented the dynamite.



Here his quote:

"My dynamite will sooner lead to peace than a thousand world
conventions. As soon as men will find that in one instant, whole armies can be utterly destroyed, they surely will abide by golden peace"

I'd say, that prediction was not really good, though it got the gist of a concept later used for the nuclear weapons.
